National Parks and Wildlife Service NSW are looking to construct a memorial to staff who have lost their lives at work. The location selected is George Phillips Lookout on the Fairfax Track near Govetts Leap. NPWS have requested that the memorial be a sandstone seat / landscape element with a plaque mounted to the stone and located to the rear of the viewing platform precinct. The scope of this project includes the design of the sandstone seating element and the adjoining landscape – roughly 20 square meters.
